• If you are home and feeling poorly (due to symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath), please contact your doctor and stay home. 
  • All staff members are required to wear face masks when inside the building.
  • If you are not sick but have a person in your home that has a confirmed case of COVID-19, or if you are aware that you have had contact with anyone that has a confirmed case, report this immediately to HSPC and plan to stay at home until further advised by your physician. 
  • If you are healthy, report to work for your assigned shifts.
  • Pursuant to Governor Evers Executive Order 82: Relating to Declaring a Public Health Emergency​​ — July 30, ​​2​020 and Emergency Order #1 requiring face coverings staff are now required to wear face masks.
  • Review posters in the middle hallway related to COVID-19 testing, how to remove gloves, and employee rights.
  • Gloves, breathing barriers, and other PPE are supplied to staff by HSPC.  You are encouraged to use them.
  • HSPC asks you to maintain social distancing of 6’ from another person (with masks on 3’ applies).
  • Wash your hands regularly.
  • Employees that use computers are encouraged to sanitize keyboards, mice, and work areas using disinfecting wipes each day.
  • Sherri Galle-Teske is HSPC’s spoke-person to the media for all questions and requests for comment.  Redirect all requests to Sherri.
  • Some staff can do computer work from home.  Discuss with your supervisor if you think this is an option for you.
  • Human food is to be eaten in the education/break room.  Do not consume food in public areas.
  • HSPC will remain closed to the general public and unannounced walk-in traffic.
  • We will remain open for Animal Control, Adoption, and other business related appointments. 
    Our hours of operation remain unchanged.
    • Monday & Friday Noon to 3PM
    • Tuesday & Thursday Noon to 7PM
    • Saturday 11AM to 3PM
    • Wednesday & Sunday Closed
  • All Volunteer activity is suspended—no walk-ins allowed at this time.
  • Donations of blankets, animal toys, etc. will continue to be accepted but will remain outside next to the garage in our parking lot.  There will be a clipboard with a customer sign-up sheet for thank you correspondence.
